How Sophemy works
Practice that feels like the real exam, with an explanation for every option so wrong answers teach you something.
Ways to practice
- Timed simulation
- Questions at the real exam's pace. You can flag questions and jump around with the question map. Answers and explanations appear when you finish.
- Review mode
- Check each answer when you're ready. You'll see which options were right, why each one is right or wrong, and links to the official documentation.
- Randomized test
- A fresh draw from the whole question bank, weighted by the exam blueprint.
- Section drills
- All questions from one domain, so you can fix a weak area.
- Flashcards
- Scenario on the front, answer and explanation on the back.
Tools during a test
- Rule out options
- Use the crossed-bubble button beside an option, right-click the option, or press Shift and its letter. The option is struck through so you can focus on the rest. Choosing it again brings it back.
- Highlight
- Select words in the question and choose Highlight. Select a highlight to remove it, or clear them all below the question.
- Flag for review
- Mark a question to come back to. Flagged questions show on the question map and in your results.
Scoring
A question counts as correct only when you choose exactly the right options. Multiple-response questions say how many to pick. Your score is the percentage you got right, compared with a practice pass mark for each exam. Real exams use scaled scores, so treat the practice mark as a guide rather than a prediction.
Your data
Your answers, scores and history are stored in this browser using local storage. They aren't sent to Sophemy. Clearing your browser data or switching devices starts you fresh. You can also clear your history on the progress page.
Accessibility
- Everything works with a keyboard and a screen reader. Questions use real radio buttons and checkboxes.
- Timed tests offer extra time (1.5×) or no time limit. Time warnings are announced at 10, 5 and 1 minute left.
- Optional single-key shortcuts (A–E to choose, Shift with A–E to rule out, N and P to move, F to flag) can be turned off in any test.
- Light and dark themes, text that resizes, and motion that respects your system's reduced-motion setting.
Our questions
Every question is written from scratch and mapped to the published exam domains. We never use real exam content. If something looks wrong or out of date, use Report a problem on the question and we'll fix it.
